Empowering women and children in Ghana to break the cycle of poverty through education, healthcare, and sustainable opportunities since 2015.
To create sustainable pathways out of poverty by providing women and children with access to quality education, comprehensive healthcare, safe housing, and skills training. We believe every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we work tirelessly to remove barriers that prevent them from reaching their full potential.
A world where every woman and child has equal access to opportunities, resources, and support systems needed to build a dignified and prosperous life. We envision communities where gender equality is the norm, children grow up healthy and educated, and families have the tools to create generational change.
Veerises Foundation was born from a simple yet powerful observation: when women and children are given the right support, entire communities transform. Our founder, Dr. Sarah Johnson, witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of poverty on families during her years as a social worker in underserved communities in Ghana.
In 2015, with a small team of dedicated volunteers and a big vision, we launched our first education program in a rural community. What started as a single classroom with 20 women has grown into a comprehensive organization serving thousands across Ghana.
Today, we operate education centers, healthcare clinics, safe housing facilities, and vocational training programs. But our greatest achievement isn't measured in numbers—it's in the transformed lives, the children who now attend school, the mothers who've started businesses, and the families who've broken free from poverty.
Every day, we're inspired by the resilience and strength of the women and children we serve. Their stories fuel our commitment to creating lasting, meaningful change.
